SELANGOR

1 UTAMA

1Utama is a not to be missed shopping mall. After the huge renovation it again it a wonderful place to shop for all kinds of products (and also one of the biggest). There is also a huge Foodrepublic food court, where you can try many local dishes. 1Utama is not really popular among tourists because of the distance from most of the tourist hotels; still it is very much worth a visit.


It is fairly easy to get to 1U: using the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP Highway), it can be accessed from just off the main highway. Additionally, it is a ten-minute drive away from IPC (Ikano Power Centre) and The Curve – two well-known PJ malls.

1 Utama is one of the Klang Valley’s most popular shopping centres. An expansive mall in Bandar Utama (a small suburb just off the Lebuhraya Damansara-Pucong)h, it is about 30 minutes away from KL city centre.


THE CURVE & E@CURVE

Opposite the Curve is Ikano Power Center, where you can find a few flagship stores of popular local and foreign brands. The Curve is especially popular among the local expat community. It is also popular among urban youth, the clean and organised complex makes for an enjoyable and uncomplicated day out.


The outdoor walkway, The Street, is undoubtedly the best reason for visiting The Curve – peppered with swanky bistros, cafés and restaurants, it’s one of the city’s most renowned al fresco dining venues.
There’s a free shuttle bus that runs three times a day between Royale Bukit Bintang Hotel (along Jalan Bukit Bintang) and the mall; alternatively, Metrobus 99 also runs here from KL’s Central Market. Otherwise, you can hop on the Putra Line LRT from KL Sentral to Kelana Jaya. From here, there’s a free shuttle bus that heads to The Curve.

 Malaysia is a paradise for those who love shopping. There ape many popular international brands have their stores in one of the malls in Malaysia. Products range from luxurious designer clothing and accessories to exclusive bags, watches, trendy footwear and every type of electronic equipment imaginable. There are over 50 big shopping malls in Malaysia especially in Kuala Lumpur which  has over 20 malls in total with most of them concentrated within the Golden Triangle which is nearby Bukit Bintang. All of the shopping malls attract over 3 million visitors per month.Shopping is the favourite pastime of Malaysian. the shopping malls are especially packed during the weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Roads leading towards the malls are then often busy and there are also heavy traffic jams during the shopping period.

SURIA KLCC SHOPPING MALL

Suria KLCC houses over 320 high-end local and international retailers and brands. Well-known brands available at the mall include Balenciaga, Banana Republic, Coach, DKNY, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and Versace.


Outside Suria KLCC is just as interesting as its interior design. there are buskers set up shop with their guitars, harmonicas and tambourines. people would sit on the steps eating street food, school kids gather for excursions to the Petronas Twin Towers and backpackers smile for the cameras.Suria KLCC is easily accessible via light rail transit, as the Rapid KL train station which is located within the mall. 




MID VALLEY



Situated beside the KL Komuter Mid Valley station, its fairly easy to get to the shopping centre; alternatively, there are several RapidKL buses – U66, U84, U85, U87 and T631 – that arrive at the mall’s North Court entrance.


BERJAYA TIME SQUARE



The biggest building in Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya Times Square is currently the eighth tallest twin buildings in KL and the fifth largest building in the world by floor area (7.5 million sqft). it is a major city landmark, the mall sees a fair amount of KL’s tourist traffic each month. the Borders Bookstore which available in it is the largest Borders store in the world that opened its doors here in 2005. The Kuala Lumpur onorail station is linked to the mall via a footbridge.

Starhill Gallery is one of those ritzy shopping malls where you are almost afraid to touch things. Ambient lighting, soft jazz music playing in the background and carpeted floors that mask any sound your feet might make, results in this being a red carpet retail experience like no other.

 Starhill Gallery is the most upscale, luxury retail mall in the prominent Bukit Bintang district. It houses more than 100 renowned luxury timepiece and jewellery brands and dozens of other contemporary luxury labels.
Starhill Gallery sits directly adjacent to Pavilion KL and is connected to the five-star JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur hotel. Cosmetics behemoth Sephora is located beside it and just down the road is the sister venture of Pavilion KL, the newly-opened Fahrenheit 88. Starhill Gallery faces Jalan Gading and Jalan Bukit Bintang and is also linked to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel by a sky bridge.

SUNGEI WANG/BUKIT BINTANG PLAZA

Divided into coloured zones the mall is easy to navigate and is one of the few places to get good deals on ladies apparel in KL. Dresses, tops, pants, skirts and more cost less than RM100 and besides Low Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang is also the best places for computer accessories.

There’s an interconnecting bridge that links Sungei Wang and Bukit Bintang Plaza to Lot 10 just across the road; the overpass that leads to the Bukit Bintang Monorail station is just to the left of the front entrance of Sungei Wang. LOW YAT PLAZA

Not all tourists will like Lowyat as it is small, crowded and often very noisy. Lowyat is the premier IT, Gadget and Lifestyle mall in Kuala Lumpur and Specializing in electronics and IT products, it’s located directly opposite the popular Berjaya Times Square shopping mall. Here you will find hundreds of small shops selling luxurious products like cameras, phones, laptops, tablets and much more. If you are looking for electronic accessories, this is definitely the place to be. Do know that you can only get great discounts after some tough bargaining.

PAHANG




Kuantan is the capital city of Pahang. It is a town which is well-known for its production of handicrafts, batik and as well as local snacks like the dried fish crackers and salted fish. Other that, there are other shopping malls in the town as well. The East Coast Mall is one of the biggest malls in town and the latest mall in Kuantan. There is also the multi-storey Berjaya Megamall in Kuantan. The other would be the Kuantan Parade. 3) Zon Bebas Cukai Rantau Panjang

Rantau Panjang is a town in Kelantan, Malaysia. It is the major border crossing between Malaysia and Thailand for the East Coast of Malaysia. The town on the Thai side across the Golok River which forms the boundary between the two countries is Sungai Golok.

TERENGGANU




Terengganu holds the charms and splendour from others state in Malaysia. Despite rapid development and modernisation, it is as if time has stood still as the state retains all the rustic and idyllic charms so different from other tourist destination. Terengganu is truly a lessed state. It is in the early 1970’s that tourists start arriving. Unspoilt beaches, the wonders of watching giant leather back turtles, the crystal clear azure waters, the splendours of marine lives and the untouched tropical rainforests are totally and experience to cherish. Even the uniqueness of its traditional foods are distinctively sought after and remains a part of Terengganu’s identity. HOW TO GET THERE
If you are from Bandar Chukai, you can take the road leading towards Kuala Terengganu and drive about 20km and you will arrive at Awana Resort and SPA. Continue for another 6km, you will not miss Mesra Mall, with a Petronas station just beside it. It takes about 20 minutes by car.
If you are from PAKA, Mesra Mall is 20km away. Proceed southwards towards Kuantan, first drive past the "City of Lights" that is the Petronas petroleum complex that lights up a night like Vegas. You will soon arrive at Kerteh and will not miss Mesra Mall on the right hand side of the road. It takes about 20 minutes by car.

Astaka Shopping Centre was located at Kompleks Taman Selera Tanjung, Kuala Terengganu. It was near to Hotel Alamanda and Hotel YT Mildtown.
