RIVERSIDE SHOPPING COMPLEX

Riverside Shopping Complex (RSC) is located at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, annexed to its sister property, Riverside Majestic Hotel in Kuching’s central business district. The complex includes a 24-lane bowling alley and
cineplex. Another major hotel and sister property is the Grand Margherita Hotel which is just across the road from Riverside Majestic. Other important establishments located in the area are major banks, shopping malls, service apartments and offices.

The famous award winning esplanade, Kuching Waterfront, along the Sarawak River is also situated within walking distance (2 minutes) from this prime area. An interesting destination is the TopSpot Foodcourt which is located on the top floor of Taman Kereta car park (5 minutes walk across the road). This foodcourt is famous for its delicious seafood.

Located at Jalan Simpang Tiga between Kuching City centre and International Airport. When it opened to the public in January 2008, The Spring was Kuching's largest shopping mall till 2013 when Bolevord Mall was completed. However The Spring remain as the First Lifestyle Shopping Mall of Kuching City.It offers many international brands like Esprit, Charles & Keith, Starbucks, Quiksilver etc. spread over two stories and a basement. It also has a Parkson Department Store and a supermarket offering many imported goods. Plaza Merdeka Plaza Merdeka took over a few abandon buildings located at the heart of Kuching, and turned it into  a huge lifestyle mall which caters not only for locals, but tourist.People from Kuching no longer need to fly  over to West Malaysia to enjoy shopping after the opening of Plaza Merdeka on 29 November 2012.  The long awaited new shopping mall, which is built on one of Kuching Historical Site,  provides varieties of products for consumers who are brand concious or those who are looking for  modern lifestyle. Attached to Plaza Merdeka will be a 5-Star hotel (not known yet) and is  expected to be completed in two year time. The mall brings in numerous well known international brands (Cotton-On, Dorothy Perkins, Starbucks and more), and boast of one of the best locations in the city as it overlooks the serene Merdeka Field as well as giving its shoppers a beautiful view of the Kuching esplanade a.k.a Kuching Waterfront.
